Papierfabrik Scheufelen operates a paper mill in Lenningen, Germany and is a leading producer of premium quality coated woodfree papers which it sells and distributes through a network of sales offices and agents throughout Europe. Products
Coated woodfree papers are manufactured from mixed hardwood and softwood pulp. The base paper is coated using optical brighteners and pigments to produce a range of surface characteristics suitable for different applications. Scheufelen papers are available in a wide range of base weights and are marketed under a number of well known and highly regarded brand names including BVS, BRO, PhoeniXmotion, Consort Royal, Job Parilux and heaven 42.

Applications
Coated woodfree papers are used wherever superior finish and quality are required. Their main use is in the production of high-quality, printed promotional material for major corporations and producers and distributors of premium branded goods. Typical applications include point of sale material, corporate brochures, promotional literature and annual reports. In addition to the core grades, Scheufelen manufactures a range of highly-regarded specialised coated woodfree papers suitable for use in the production of quality books, calendars, art prints and archive documents.

Markets
Coated woodfree papers are used extensively throughout the world. However, Scheufelen concentrates its sales and marketing efforts on end-users, designers, printers and distributors of premium-quality materials within a 500 kilometre radius of the mill where it has a competitive advantage. This area includes Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy and France and encompasses the largest concentration of users of coated woodfree papers in Europe.
