Savon Sellu invests in power plant

The investment program of Powerflute Oy Savon Sellu, which is nowadays owned by a group of international investors, is going forward. The company is developing its power plant. The crate of the boiler is renewed and modernized. After this change Savon Sellu will run a trial with coal as an alternative fuel during autumn in order to add fuel options for the mill. New fuel is tried because there have been constant problems in getting proper peat, the current main fuel. One target of this trial is to reduce emissions. The development of the power plant is a part of the 15 MEUR investment program of Savon Sellu.
